How CaratOS is organised.
CaratOS is a live jewellery operating system at caratapp.co — not a finished catalogue. This page matches the 16 first-class pages in the signed-in app sidebar. In-app System Documentation still holds the detailed patch history for operators.

16 first-class app pages
These are the sidebar destinations in the live product. Shopify sync, Sales Mode, live bullion rates, and the PIN-protected Secret Vault sit inside these pages — they are not extra billed modules.
- Dashboard — today’s rate, stock value, and follow-ups.
- Timeline — attributed firm activity, newest first.
- Inventory — variant SKUs with metal, stones, images, and value. Shopify catalogue sync is configured here, not as a separate App Store listing.
- Cash Flow — invoices, bank activity, and exceptions.
- Karigar Jobs — job-work assigned to a karigar with due dates.
- Approvals — B2B memo / on-approval stock, challans, metal position.
- Jeweller Accounts — party ledgers for wholesale payables and advances.
- CRM — consultation through quote and handoff.
- Customers — directory with purchase history and kitty commitments.
- Kitty Manager — gold-saving schemes, instalment by instalment.
- Quotations — numbered quotes that convert to invoices.
- GST Invoices — CGST/SGST/IGST by place of supply, including Sales Mode at the counter.
- Reports — reporting and compliance views over the same records.
- Devices — scanners, label printers, tag layout.
- WhatsApp Memory — conversational query and update of firm records.
- Staff & access — up to five users with scoped permissions. Secret Vault PIN lives with firm settings.
GST, WhatsApp, Shopify
- GST split follows intra- vs inter-state supply. PAN capture prompts on high-value invoices.
- WhatsApp AI maps Hinglish shorthand onto leads, jobs, kitty, invoices, and timeline notes.
- Shopify stays in-product: connect an existing catalogue from Inventory. There is no CaratOS Shopify App Store listing.
CaratOS is owned by Izara Gems Pvt Ltd. RareCut (rarecut.in) is in-house dogfood — the first production jewellery house on this stack — not an independent customer case study. The product is live at v2.0.0 and still being built.
