How we run RareCut on CaratOS | CaratOS
IN-HOUSE DOGFOOD — NOT A CUSTOMER CASE STUDY

RareCut runs on CaratOS because we built both.

By Chirant Saluja, Founder/CTO, Izara Gems Pvt Ltd

RareCut is the D2C jewellery house owned by Izara Gems — the same company that owns CaratOS. We use CaratOS on RareCut every day. That is dogfood, not an independent customer win.

What that actually means

Inventory, GST invoices, WhatsApp-assisted notes, and Shopify catalogue sync for RareCut live in the same product you can trial at caratapp.co. We do not publish third-party case-study metrics. We do not claim 40 hours saved or 100% WhatsApp response as if a separate retailer measured them.

  • Sister foundry: Izara Gems (izaragems.com) is the manufacturing house.
  • Retail dogfood: RareCut is the first production jewellery house on this stack.
  • Beta tenant: SLX Consulting also dogfoods the commercial layer. Neither is marketed here as an unaffiliated customer logo.

Honest status

CaratOS is live at v2.0.0 and still being built. Resources already says there are no published customer case studies. This page is the RareCut note that belongs with that admission.
